Now accepting new piano students

I am currently accepting new piano students in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. To give you a little background information on me…

My name is Kristi Tanner, and I am a pianist and piano teacher. I have been playing the piano for all of my life, although now that I am the mother of three children I usually have a child on my lap whenever I sit down to play!

As a teenager I followed the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum (in Canada) and received high marks in my piano and theory examinations.

I have been teaching piano lessons since 2008. I enjoy meeting weekly with my students and helping them to develop a love and appreciation of music through firsthand experience at the piano.

If you are considering enrolling in piano lessons with me, please review my Piano Studio Policy. It covers all the important things like payment and missed lesson policies, materials, practice expectations, etc.

If you are interested in lessons please contact me by email at nurturemama2 {at} gmail {dot}} com

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Farewell to my Florida students

It has been a wonderful experience teaching piano lessons in Florida. I will miss the wonderful students and families–the friends!–that I have been able to spend time with on a weekly basis. I have learned much, and I count it a great blessing to be a piano teacher. I will definitely remember my Florida piano teaching days with fondness!

Please answer the following questions as best as you can about each of your recital songs (in other words, you should complete two worksheets).
