Spring Recital

Our spring recital was last Friday evening. All of my students did a great job, and I was so proud of everyone. This is what our program looked like this time around. I made one of these tissue paper flowers to present to each student (along with their certificate) because every great performer deserves a flower! The flowers are really fun and easy to make (thanks to the tutorial at Make and Takes).Check out this cake! A perfect piano in edible miniature.  Thanks for sharing your talent with us Annabelle, the cake looked (and tasted) amazing!I tried a new recipe for the punch, and I think it was a hit. A half gallon of raspberry sherbet combined with 2 bottles of sprite to make the delicious “pink punch”. I really appreciate all of the parents and their willingness to help with the food and supplies to contribute to a nice reception after the performances.

Piano recitals are great fun! I’m already looking forward to the next one!

We had such a great time at the recital! It was an awesome experience to see, as a parent, our children perform and play beautiful music. Thanks for all of your hard work in making it a special evening!
